Vitalink Chill

Vitalink Chill is a bio-stimulant formulated to maximise yields from your plants cost-effectively. It will protect your plants from stress caused by unusual or adverse environmental conditions.

Chill protects plants from heat stress when the temperature is relatively high, allowing growers to obtain good results and excellent yields throughout the year.

This product is the solution to a specific problem. If left unchecked, fluctuations in temperature may have a terrible effect on your plants. If you have difficulty with this, Chill is a reliable defence strategy.

Vitalink has developed two products, Chill and Heat, which take care of these temperature extremes and their potentially adverse effects on your crop. Your plants will be strengthened against this temperature stress and will ensure they will always thrive even in these extreme conditions.

How Does it Work?

This product was originally for large, industrial and commercial settings. It has been tweaked and refined over the years and is subject to rigorous testing and constant improvement.

An average plant will require an optimal temperature of approximately 25°C. But when you add this product, plants will thrive at 30°C and above. Chill is essential for growers who experience temperature issues during the summer months. It ensures that indoor grow areas remain as productive as possible.

How to Use?

Use before a warm period for best results, as much as a few weeks in advance. It works with any mainstream nutrients.

Always shake the bottle before use. Use between 3ml and 5ml of the product per 10 litres of nutrient solution, and always be careful to add to fresh nutrient solution.

Chill has a cumulative effect in that, over time (and when used regularly), your plants will be able to build up a tolerance to high temperatures and their consequences.

It also works as a foliar spray for extra swift protection when an unexpected and sudden temperature rise occurs. Use a concentration of 5ml per litre and a fine mist, but do not spray to run off. Tests have shown that foliar usage in this way is not as practical as normal usage, but it will undoubtedly help salvage your plants if the worst happens.

Do not use Chill in conjunction with its sister product, Vitalink Heat. However, it does work with Vitalink Hydrate to concentrate half the regular dose of each product. Unfortunately, you could damage your plants if you do not use this reduced dosage or use Chill and Heat together.

The pH range for this product is between 5.8 and 6.5. Adjust your pH as necessary. You can check pH levels with a Bluelab pH Pen.
