How does the BudBox Pro XXL plus-HL Grow Tent 150x300x220cm work?

BudBox is one of the most trusted brands for indoor grow tents. They’ve been in business as a manufacturer of quality products since 2004, dominant in the market from the beginning and providing growers with first-class products.

The frames are high-quality steel with black powder-coated poles that push-and-click fit into their corners with sturdy pole connectors, ensuring the structure is solid and stable. It’s widely believed that no sturdier grow tent can deal with all the hydroponic equipment you use and more.

The top quality 1mm thick, durable fabric of this tent has been stitched with great precision to ensure light does not escape. The premium lightweight shell is straightforward to fit, and with military-grade, high-quality zips, these tents will give you unrivalled success in sealing in smell, light and sound. They are available with silver and white lining options.

The extraction and the intake ports are big enough to fit acoustic ducting, and they have heavy-duty drawstrings attached, enabling secure fastening. This tent has amply large venting panels for improved passive airflow and a conveniently placed ground-level irrigation port, and there are no better appointed or equipped tents today than the XXL range.

This tent has a handy 35cm x 25cm viewing window that allows you to check up on how your plants are doing without having to open the door and cause any disturbance to the growing environment. This viewing window has a transparent green filter, as green light does not affect plant light cycles. So you can check on your plants night or day without risk of an adverse environmental effect.

How do I use this tent?

Follow the illustrated instructions to set it up. First, construct the tent’s framework, then unzip and unfold the outer fabric. You then just fit the lower area of the exterior to the base of the tent frame, and once this is secured, you pull the rest of the tent fabric over the frame. It’s as easy as that and only takes a few minutes. No special equipment is needed – not even a screwdriver or a spanner.

Which size fan and filter should I use for my grow tent?

There’s quite an easy way to calculate which size extraction unit you need for your growing space. Firstly you find out the volume in cubic metres of the grow space with Width x Length x Height = Volume. Multiply the volume x 60 = Air Movement Per Hour (to refresh the air in your grow tent).

If you’re using a filter (which you probably are), then the amount of air you need to move is calculated by multiplying the Air Movement Per Hour x 1.2. That is the amount of air your fan will need to move, so that is the number you should match with the fan you should get for your grow tent.

It’s far better to over-spec your fan and reduce its output by using a controller. A more powerful fan offers you the versatility to boost output and preserve optimum circumstances for your plants, for example, in the middle of summer.
