How does the BudBox Pro Titan 3-HL Grow Tent 300x300x220cm work?

This tent is one of the best grow tents available today, and BudBox is one of the leading brands. Nevertheless, the development people keep coming up with innovative improvements to make them even better than they are already so that users can get more out of their products for even less effort.

The robust metal corners with 25mm click-lock poles provide a strong framework, as these can support any equipment you wish to use, including any heavy hardware. All the poles and bars are coated with powder, reducing the chances of any corrosion occurring.

This tent has a 35cm by 25cm viewing window, allowing you to see everything in your growing area without opening the door and disturbing the environment. The window has a transparent green filter on it. Light in the green part of the spectrum does not affect your plant light cycles, so you’ll be able to look through the window and check on your plants whenever you like without causing any disturbance.

The original BudBox range was known for the quality of its outer fabric. The new outer is even more durable and tougher than the previous models. It’s also lighter, making the tent more straightforward and quicker to erect and dismantle.

You have easy access to your water or nutrient solution. There’s an access point if you want to use automated watering systems. You can install the reservoir outside the tent by feeding the piping along the floor and then through one of the conveniently placed irrigation socks at the foot of the outer.

How do I use this tent?

It’s easy to set up this tent. First, you must construct the tent frame, as shown in the instructions. Then unzip and unfold the outer fabric. Locate the bottom area of the exterior and attach this to the base of the tent frame. Once secured, pull the remaining part up and over the top of the frame. No special tools are necessary.

Which size fan and filter should I use for my grow tent?

There’s an easy way to determine which size extraction fan you need for your grow tent. Firstly you find out the volume in cubic metres of the growing space with Width x Length x Height = Volume. Multiply the volume x 60 = Air Movement Per Hour (to refresh the air in your grow tent).

If you’re using a filter (which you should), then the amount of air you need to move is calculated by multiplying the Air Movement Per Hour x 1.2. That is the amount of air your fan will need to move, so that is the number you should match with the fan you should get for your grow tent.

This figure should be prominently placed with the fan details, as this is the one important metric you need to know to ensure that your fan is compatible with the size of your grow tent.

It is far better to over-spec your fan and then lower its output with a controller because this allows you the versatility to increase its output later on to support optimum conditions for your plants. In other words, if in doubt, go with the larger fan.
