How does the BudBox Pro Titan 2 Grow Tent 360x240x200cm work?

This tent has a 35 x 25cm viewing window with a transparent green-tinted filter. Green is part of the colour spectrum unreactive with plants, allowing you to look inside the growing area without having to unzip the door, disturbing the controlled environment within. Your plants will be perfectly safe and unmoved by your inspection.

The BudBox range is known for its hard-wearing and quality fabric outers. But this new range comes with an outer which is even better than before. It’s also much lighter, making the whole tent easier to build and dismantle when the time comes. And, of course, the robustness remains as good as ever.

This tent has a solid framework with metal corners and 25mm click-lock poles. It’s easily as strong and sturdy as anything on the market today, and it’s readily able to support any weight of equipment and hardware that you’d want to use. All bars and poles are powder-coated, significantly reducing the chances of corrosion.

There’s a handy access point for automated watering systems (IWS, Autopots, etc.) which means you can have your tank outside the tent and then run the pipes across the tent floor and through one of the conveniently placed irrigation socks on the rim of the outer shell.

How do I use this tent?

Setting up a BudBox tent is easy and quick. Follow the fully illustrated instructions supplied. Unfold and unzip the outer fabric, then fit the bottom of the exterior to the base of the tent frame. After this, pull the rest of the outer up and over. It’s all done in less than five minutes with no special tools.

Which size fan and filter do I need for my grow tent?

There’s an easy way to calculate which size extraction unit you need for your grow tent size. Firstly you find out the volume in cubic metres of the growing space with Width x Length x Height = Volume. Multiply the volume x 60 = Air Movement Per Hour (to refresh the air in your grow tent).

If you’re using a filter (which you probably are), then the amount of air you need to move is calculated by multiplying the Air Movement Per Hour x 1.2. That is the amount of air your fan will need to move, so that is the number you should match with the fan you should get for your grow tent.

This number is shown on all the extractor fans to help identify whether or not that fan is compatible with the size and capacity of your grow tent or growing area.

It’s always better to over-specify the fan you buy and lower the output with a fan controller. A more powerful fan provides you with the flexibility to step up its output afterwards to sustain optimal conditions for your plants.
