Dutchpro pH+ is used to raise the pH of the nutrient solution during both the vegetative and flowering stages of your plants’ life cycles. 

Combining pH+ with a suitable pH Down product is recommended for hydroponic systems. 

The product derives its function from the 30% potassium hydroxide that it contains, which is a beneficial ingredient for plants in their flowering stage. When growing indoors, the pH level of your nutrient solution needs controlling, so you need to have a reliable source of both Up and Down products to do this.

How Does it Work?

PH+ corrects the pH levels of your nutrient solution if they are below the 5.5 to 6.5 level, which is the optimum range for your plants to use the nutrients provided. This product is very good at keeping your pH levels in the normal range. 

It is easy to use and apply and also very cost-effective. The main constituent is an alkalic potassium-hydroxide in a concentration of 30%. Apply it in small amounts until you achieve the desired pH level, usually around 5.5 – 6.5. This Up solution is for acidic nutrient solutions with a pH of 0 to 7. If the pH is 7 to 14, you need to use a Down solution, and both these types of products are part of the armoury of every successful hydroponic grower.

How to Use?

Plants can absorb nutrients readily at a pH value between 5.5 and 6.5. For plants to perform at their potential, the pH will need to be monitored consistently, preferably daily, and adjusted whenever this is necessary. 

You adjust the pH of the nutrient solution by adding a small amount of pH+, then retaking the pH value. Repeat this until the pH level reaches the desired value. 

Please note: pH+ and Down can cause severe burns, so make sure that you keep them out of the reach of children. In case of any contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with lots of water and seek medical advice if necessary. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. 

PH+ and pH Down are hazardous if they come into contact with each other, so never mix them. Always use separate measuring equipment when you adjust pH values.
