How do I use this tent?

Setting up this tent is straightforward. Push and click your frame into shape, as shown in the supplied instruction sheet. You’ll need to unfold and unzip the outer. Then locate the bottom of the outer fabric and attach this to the base of the tent’s frame. Once secured, you can pull the rest of the material up and over the top, and there you have it. No special tools are needed.

Fan and Filter sizes in Grow Tents?

There’s an easy way to calculate the correct size extraction fan unit you’ll need for your grow tent. Firstly you work out the Volume in cubic metres of the growing space with Width x Length x Height = Volume. Multiply the Volume x 60 = Air Movement Per Hour (to refresh the air in your grow tent).

If you’re using a filter (which you probably are), then the amount of air you need to move is calculated by multiplying the Air Movement Per Hour x 1.2. That is the amount of air your fan will need to move, so that is the number you should match with the fan you should get for your grow tent.

It is always better to over-spec the fan you decide on and lower its output using a fan controller. The greater capacity allows you to preserve optimal circumstances for your plants.
