How Does it Work?

These saucers fit the space-sensible square pots snugly and are especially useful at catching any run-off which will inevitably flow from your plant pots. Using one of these under your square pot allows you to effortlessly and continually catch this run-off while watering, thereby preventing it from spilling over onto the floor of your growing room or tent.

How to Use?

You place the appropriately sized saucer beneath the pot and let it catch any run-off and excess water from the pot base. No mechanical or moving parts, so nothing can go wrong.

When you water your plants, it’s generally advisable to allow 10 to 20% of your water or nutrient solution that you pour into the top of your pots to run out of the bottom. This action alone serves to wash out any toxins and old nutrients which may have built up in the growing medium and the substrate.

You can then check for yourself by testing the run-off for pH and EC/CF/PPM, as this will give you a good insight into your plants’ needs at the various stages of their development. When the pot has completed its draining, you can throw away the run-off, as doing so will prevent the growing media from re-soaking up the discarded waste.
