The Faran HR50 Humidification Kit lets you control your plants’ ambient air humidity to reach their full potential.

Whatever you grow and the size of your growing space, humidity levels that are not right for your plants may, and usually will, spell disaster for their health and development. The quality and quantity of the yield at harvest will suffer. As plants transpire, they lose water through their stomata, tiny openings on the surfaces of the leaves. Should the moisture in the surrounding air be unacceptably low, the total amount of H2O released by your plants will be that much higher.

This product connects to a water reservoir that supplies water to the unit. It works using a float-valve switch system; water is only sent to the unit when needed, so it can’t overflow. No pump is necessary as this is an entirely gravity-fed system, so there is no need for any further expenditure on electrical power.

How to Use?

Use the Faran HR50 Humidifier with filtered water only. Minerals within unfiltered water, such as tap water, will become vaporised with the water itself; these minerals will build up as a residue of salt deposits on your equipment. To set up, plug the power cable into your wall socket, top up the tank or reservoir with distilled or reverse osmosis (RO) water and set the dial on the unit to the required humidity level. Recommended humidity levels are:

• For clones and Seedlings: 70 to 85%
• For vegetation: 65 to 75%
• For flowers: 45 to 65%
