The controller controls your intake and exhaust fans thermostatically and reacts intelligently to any changes in temperature by using what is known as Reactive Temperature Technology (RTT), which actively keeps an eye on fan speed and adjusts it if necessary.

How does it Work?

This Digital EC Fan Controller controls Revolution EC Vector fans. It works by plugging your EC fan into the mains power supply and then controlling it with a low voltage signal cable from the EC fan controller.

The unit regulates temperature by increasing or decreasing the speed of the EC Vector fan while producing no electrical humming noise, which many people find irritating. RTT is there to safeguard your growing room’s climate control. If there is a sudden spike in temperature, the fan controller will respond by increasing the fan speed, thereby stabilising the temperature.

Similarly, a temperature rise will produce a gentle increase in speed. Should the temperature rise above the chosen setting, the speed will increase by 1% until the temperature stabilises. EC fans save energy, so they have much lower running costs than AC fans. When you lower speed with EC fans, energy consumption also reduces; this is not the case with AC fans.
