How Does it Work?

Growth Technology Formulex is a well-known nutrient for feeding and rearing young plants. It’s great for cuttings and seedlings that are beginning to show signs that they need nourishment, and it’s also handy for vegging plants that use soil-based methods, hydroponics, and other hydro methods.

This product is a highly versatile 1-part mineral fertiliser which offers a complete nutrient (including NPK) profile and works exceptionally well with young plants. It contains all the things seedlings and cuttings require when their first feeds are due.

Although the product works on plants in the early stages of development, it also performs through the plant’s vegetative phase for soil-grown and hydro-grown plants. Its formula does not need pH adjusting when used with most types of water, and it can help grow all kinds of vegetative and floral plants to the highest standard. Many professionals rely on this to nourish their seedlings, clones and transplants.

How to Use?

Formulex works for seedlings, cuttings, young plants and vegging plants right up to where they’re ready to start budding. It is handy for plants grown in all media and any growing system. When hand-watering, use it once a week, or at every reservoir change if used with hydro.

Always shake the bottle well before use. For use in soil-based growing systems, add 5ml per litre to your nutrient solution and stir well to mix.

In hydroponics, use a concentration of 10ml per litre of nutrient solution and stir well to mix.

Add 5ml per litre of water as a foliar feed and stir well to mix. Spray the plants from top to bottom, ensuring the leaves’ tops and undersides are liberally wetted.

Be careful you don’t get any liquid in contact with your grow lamps. The best moment to spray your plants is in low-light conditions and, better still, after switching off the lights for the dark period. This action goes a long way to help prevent leaf burn caused by bright light hitting wet leaves.

Allow it to dry thoroughly before switching on the lights again.
