When the root system absorbs mono-silicic acid, it deposits onto the plants’ cell walls. This deposit results in a mortar-like substance similar to cement between bricks. In times of abiotic stress, such as a prolonged period of drought, the pressure within the cells remains high, and this assists the plant in keeping its shape. 

When mono-silicic acid enters the roots, it acts as a transporter and increases the vascular pressure within the plant’s xylem, attracting beneficial heavy minerals. This process results in increased calcium absorption. With plant cell walls so strengthened, this further protection makes it difficult for pests and unfriendly bacteria to damage crops in the mistaken belief that it exists only as their food. 

Furthermore, mono-silicic acid is mainly responsible for plant immunity and specific defence responses to viral, bacterial and fungal infections. So there are numerous reasons you should make the most of this natural additive.

How to Use?

Shake well before use. This product should be used at a concentration of 2ml per 10 litres right through the plant’s vegetative stage until you begin your flush. Store in a cool, dry area and at 4°C or higher. Always keep out of the reach of children and animals.
