How Does it Work?

Flower Burst helps your plants transition between their vegetative (growth) and flowering (bloom) stages. Growers often ignore this part of a plant’s life cycle but recently have realised the importance of this transition zone; what happens during this time will determine just how successful a crop you’ll enjoy at harvest time.

When you use Flower Burst, you should expect to see a shortening of the time a plant takes to adjust from its veg to its flowering stage, and in particular, you should expect to see an increase in the number and growth rate of flower clusters on your plants. Good development of these will ensure bigger and healthier fruits/flowers later, and it also decreases the time it takes for the plant to get harvested.

This product has a formulaic ratio of 0-10-8, which is eight parts potassium and ten parts phosphorous for every 100 parts of non-diluted feed, and this works well in conjunction with your base nutrient. That ratio allows your plants the extra phosphorus they need to grow healthy, robust roots during their growth stage immediately after switching to their 12/12 cycle. Research has shown that this increase in calcium in veg and early flowering helps the plant develop a more robust general structure. This product contains boron which helps with calcium uptake so that any calcium additives used in this period will become much more effective.

How do I use this product?

Use Flower Burst during the first three weeks of your plant’s blooming stage; afterwards, you could switch to a product such as Buddhas Tree PK 9-18. Use the product in conjunction with the base nutrient at a concentration of just 0.25ml per litre of nutrient solution and check pH levels and EC levels to ensure they’re in the recommended range.

Please Note: Never mix nutrients or any additives in their concentrated state. Always add them to your reservoir or tank one at a time, stir well, add the next one, etc. Also, you should ensure that the products are used in the correct proportions, as an imbalance in the nutrient solution may well lead to plant deficiencies.
