Shogun Samurai Hydro Grow A&B is a two-part fertiliser for the vegetative stage of plants. It boosts yields by up to 8% over other NPK competitors.

How to Use?

Hydro Grow works specifically in hydroponic systems and during the vegetative growth stage. Variants of this product are available for both hard and soft water areas.

Fill up your hydroponic reservoir with water and add an equal amount of part A and then part B to reach the required strength and stir well to mix.

Shogun recommends using a concentration of 1ml to 3 ml per litre of water for both parts A&B. A beaker or syringe is ideal for accurate measuring, and use a CF/EC/PPM meter to check the TDS – the Bluelab Truncheon is perfect.

After taking these measurements, you can then adjust as necessary. You should then add any additives or boosters you’d like to use; remember to add individually and mix well after each one. Then adjust the pH levels of the resulting nutrient solution to the correct level and adjust up or down as needed. A pH of 5.8 is the optimum level to achieve great results.

The Essentials pH meter will set the levels accurately. Renew your nutrient solution every seven days and use Hydro Grow parts A&B in equal measures. If you use only one of these, or if you use them in incorrect proportions, then your nutrient solution will become improperly balanced, inevitably leading to deficiencies in your plants more often than not.

Hydro Grow dosage levels are for use with only healthy and vigorously growing plants; if your plants are slow-growing or not completely healthy, you should use a lower dosage.
