How Does it Work?

Oldtimer Grow is an organic nutrient which many people say is unbeatable for flavour and taste. It is for the vegetative stage of a plant’s life cycle. 

This excellent plant base nutrient nourishes not only your plants but also the friendly bacteria and fungi within the growing medium around it so that the immediate substrate is teeming with life for the duration of the growth, improving the taste and aroma of fruit and flowers. 

To get the best out of this product and to enable the micro herd to flourish, experts recommend also using Ecothrive Neutralise, which will help avoid the tendency of tap water (from the chlorine derivatives within it) to inhibit or kill the friendly bacteria. This product is a comprehensive plant nutrient and has all the ingredients your plants could need during their vegetative stage.

How to Use?

Oldtimer Grow was originally for hand-watering plants in the soil during the veg stage. As it is organic, it contains small organic particles which can clog drippers, and this makes it unsuitable to be used in automated systems. 

Start using this when the soil nutrients begin to deplete. Shake the container well before use. Add between 2 and 5 ml per litre, depending on the size of your plant and its hunger. Feed once every 2 to 3 waterings through the plant’s vegetative stage and make sure that 10 to 20% run-off is enabled every time. 

When the flowering/fruiting starts, you should switch to using Plant Magic Oldtimer Bloom which is the sister product of this one, to end up with an unbeatable crop at harvest.

As with all nutrients, additives and boosters, never mix them in their concentrated form. Add each nutrient or additive to your reservoir, giving the solution a good stir to mix it in before adding the next one, and so on.
