How does the BudBox Pro XXL-R Pitched Roof Loft Grow Tent 120x240x180cm work?
This tent has a stronger-than-average frame, supporting greater weight. Metal click-lock connectors keep the tent structure stable and sturdy, and top-quality tent fabric with precision double stitching ensures the light stays inside.
The XXL-R roof design is ideal for people seeking to use their lofts, attic spaces, and rooms with pitched roofs.
BudBox tents are one of the industry leaders, but that hasn’t prevented the ingenious development department from making further improvements. The Pro range offers design improvements that will make your growing experience much easier and more rewarding in various ways!
This tent comes with metal corners and unique 25mm click-lock poles within a framework that is as strong as anything else currently available and easily able to support your grow room hardware and any equipment you want to use in the growing process. All the tent poles and bars are powder-coated, thus drastically lowering the chances of corrosion.
Its own 35 x 25cm viewing window allows you to check up on your plants without opening and closing the door and disturbing your plants. The window has a transparent green filter – green because the light in this area of the colour spectrum does not affect plant light cycles. It means you can look through and check on your plants without disturbing them or any aspect of your growing system.
Even compared to its predecessor’s excellent standards, the new outer is tougher and much more durable than the original. It’s also lighter, making the tent much quicker to erect and dismantle.
BudBox Pro tents of 1.2 square metres and more, including this one, come with an easy access point that allows an automated watering system (Autopots, IWS, etc.). You can then keep the reservoir in your system outside the tent and feed all the pipes safely and securely along the floor and then into the tent through one of the convenient irrigation socks located at the foot of the tent’s outer fabric.
How do I use this tent?
Setting up this tent is quick and straightforward. Firstly, construct the framework as shown in the illustrated supplied instructions. Then unfold and unzip the tent’s outer fabric. Fit the bottom of the exterior to the bottom of the grow tent frame. When this is secured, you can pull the rest of the tent’s outer up straight over the top.

Which size fan and filter do I need for my grow tent?
There’s quite an easy way to calculate which size extraction unit you need for your growing space. Firstly you find out the volume in cubic metres of the grow space with Width x Length x Height = Volume. Multiply the volume x 60 = Air Movement Per Hour (to refresh the air in your grow tent).
If you’re using a filter (which you probably are), then the amount of air you need to move is calculated by multiplying the Air Movement Per Hour x 1.2. That is the amount of air your fan will need to move, so that is the number you should match with the fan you should get for your grow tent.
It’s better to over-spec your fan and then reduce its output by using a controller, giving you the versatility to increase its output later to support optimum circumstances for your plants, for instance, in mid-summer.
