How does the BudBox Pro XXL Plus Grow Tent 150x300x200cm work?
BudBox is undoubtedly one of the most trusted brands when choosing indoor grow tents. Since 2004 their position in the market has been dominant and sustainable. From the design to manufacture, these tents have been thoroughly tried and tested by growers of varying expertise levels.
BudBox manufactures the frames using tempered, high-quality steel with black powder-coated poles which push and click fit in their corners with robust pole connectors that ensure the whole structure is sturdy and highly stable.
This tent’s premium quality 1mm thick and durable fabric has been stitched with precision to contain the light inside. The high-quality lightweight shell is simple to fit, and with military-grade zips, these tents will give you unrivalled success in locking in smell, light and sound.
The intake and extraction ports are big enough to fit acoustic ducting, and they have heavy-duty drawstrings attached, allowing secure tightening.
The XXL Plus is equipped with amply large venting panels for improved passive airflow and provides a conveniently placed ground-level irrigation port. There are no better-equipped or appointed tents on the market today.
Each tent in this range has a convenient viewing window. These are 35 x 25cm and allow you to check up on how your plants are doing without having to open the door and cause any disturbance to the growing environment. This viewing window has a transparent green filter because the light in this area of the colour spectrum has no effect on plant light cycles. So you can check on your plants day or night without any risk of an adverse environmental impact.
How do I use this tent?
To set this tent up, follow the illustrated instructions. Construct the tent’s framework first, then unzip and unfold the outer fabric. You then just fit the lower area of the fabric outer to the base of the tent frame, and once this is secured, you pull the rest of the tent fabric over the frame. It’s as easy as that and takes minutes, with no tools needed.

Which size fan and filter should I use for my grow tent?
There’s quite an easy way to calculate which size extraction unit you need for your growing space. Firstly you find out the volume in cubic metres of the grow space with Width x Length x height = Volume. Multiply the volume x 60 = Air Movement Per Hour (to refresh the air in your grow tent).
If you’re using a filter (which you probably are), then the amount of air you need to move is calculated by multiplying the Air Movement Per Hour x 1.2. That is the amount of air your fan will need to move, so that is the number you should match with the fan you should get for your grow tent.
It’s far better to over-spec your fan and reduce its output by using a controller. A more powerful fan offers you the versatility to boost output and preserve optimum circumstances for your plants, for example, in the middle of summer. In other words, opt for the more powerful fan if in doubt.
