How does this reflector work?

This reflector shows what it can do by uniformly and evenly spreading full spectrum light. Its design extends light out to the extremities of the growing area and can disperse the light as far as 2.4 metres in width.
It is also helpful in avoiding the build-up of hot spots, which some reflectors could do better. Due to the wide-angled design, your growing area will enjoy evenly spread light at all angles and in all areas.

The ballast can also be mounted directly on the product, allowing more room on the ground. The power cables are also held aloft in this position, so there is less of a safety issue if they trail across the floor, causing potential trip hazards.

How do I use this reflector?

Suspend the reflector over the middle of your growing space at a suitable height with rope ratchets, easy rolls or a chain. Screw the lamp firmly into the holder by gripping it with a dry, clean cloth; it should be as tight as possible to prevent arcing. Any arcing could melt the solder contact at the base of the lamp, which may cause damage and make it unusable. Ensure it is clean and free of any fingerprints and other possible contaminants.

The light should be mounted in the centre of the growing space to spread light to all areas. The 315w CDM lamps should function as follows: with the first illumination, this lamp should be run for a minimum of 15 minutes, allowing the metals inside to fuse correctly.
