How does this LED light system work?

This newest generation of wireless waterproof LED drivers includes the Telos-designed and-engineered proprietary Mesh hardware. The Precise PPFTM control, on/off scheduling, and integrated sunrise and sunset mode are all features of the Telos app, which is available for Android and iPhone.

Within the app, multiple groups of lights can have different schedules and PPF levels. You can cycle through four preset PPF levels without activating the app by pressing the embedded touch sensor.

This product is an elegant LED fixture able to deliver quality produce more significant than the equivalent wattage of HPS lights; however, it emits much less heat, and its unique spectrum provides a better crop at harvest.

It is very reliable and has lower maintenance costs. It will provide its superb spectral output for almost ten years of continual use.

The LEDs partially explain its difference; it comes with 60% white LEDs (Samsung 5050) and 40% reds (OSLON® Square Hyper Red), and this combination and proportion give it a different and unique overall spectrum.

The unit has a Meanwell driver providing reliable power to top-quality Osram LEDs (as shown above). They are one of the most advanced and efficient chips currently available, delivering 90% light output for over 50,000 hours. Telos utilise secondary optics, which provide an exceptional uniformity of light, which helps eliminate hotspots allowing even photometric light distribution across the plant canopy.

How do I use this LED Grow Light?

To get the most out of the Telos 10 Pro, you should use it in a growing space of up to 0.8m x 0.8m. But if you are growing auto-flowering plants such as tomatoes, peppers, and chillies, the growing areas recommended here may be slightly increased.

The product includes a hanging kit with sturdy metal eyelets at each end for secure and easy hanging. It comes with a wire cable and carabiners in the box, or you could use a pair of Heavy Duty Rope Ratchets.

For seedlings, cuttings and young plants, it’s recommended that you suspend one metre above the plants’ canopy. While for more extensive and established vegging plants, a suspension height of 80cm will suffice.

When your plants are in their flowering stage, a suspension height of 60cm will provide optimal results.
