G.A.S AC1 Fan Controller

The G.A.S AC1 Fan Controller is one of the latest additions to Global Air Supplies’ series of controllers and is an easy and effective way to control A.C. fans within your hydroponic grow room or tent.

You can upgrade your extraction system to make it temperature-responsive with the AC1 fan speed controller. By controlling your environmental conditions in real-time, you’ll be able to massively improve your growing room’s environment, inevitably leading to larger and better yields.

This controller has two modes to ensure that you can maintain a perfect environment. Either set the fan speed manually or control it thermostatically.

Mode 1 is when the temperature probe is connected, and in this mode, the controller will control your grow room environment thermostatically.

Mode 2 is when the temperature probe is disconnected, in which case the controller will run at the minimum speed that you set it.

How the Fan Controller Works

The Global Air Supplies AC1 is a plug-in fan controller that can regulate your extraction system’s output levels. The product can be operated in either of two modes, as explained above. To implement these, unplug the temperature sensor, and it will continually run at the chosen minimum setting. But if you plug in the sensor, it will operate thermostatically, running fans according to the minimum ‘tick-over’ setting until the heat levels rise above your chosen temperature level.

The AC1 is a ‘plug and play’ controller. You plug the AC1 into your wall socket and the duct fan into the controller. Position the probe at around canopy height in the middle of your growing area and well away from direct light. You can run just about any duct fan currently available with five amps of power.
