How does this Temperature & Humidity Sensor Work?

With the AirComfort sensor, it is straightforward to control your grow room climate and get data from it. Once installed, the Bluetooth technology will send you temperature and humidity data directly to your mobile phone using either the Android or the iOS app, with a range of about 10 metres, depending on walls, etc., which may be in the way.

But there’s no problem if you’re out of range either, as all data will store for when you’re back. The data saves up to 100 days, which is plenty of time to take any action or make any changes to your growing room arrangements according to your data.

This app can monitor up to 32 different sensor units, and each of these is easily identifiable by an icon or image you choose for every one of these currently in service.

You can set up alerts to tell you when specific events or changes occur in your growing areas, such as temperature drops or humidity spikes. The device also allows you to set the frequency you receive your alerts, data and measurement levels from every 5 minutes to 40 minutes. You can also refresh the app manually and get data minute by minute if you prefer.

In this way, you can get on top of what’s happening in your growing environment; the more you know, the more you’ll be able to optimise and make things better for your plants, which will lead to better yields and bigger harvests. You can record all past data and correlate this with results and other metrics. This award-winning sensor is versatile, and its use will lead to happier plants and better yields.

How do I use this Indoor Temperature & Humidity Sensor?

Before putting the AirComfort Sensor in your growing space, you’ll need to download the app using the QR code or directly from your App Store. You then unscrew the base unit, insert the battery, replace it, and put it wherever you like in the growing area.

When you start the app, it will ask you to sync it to make all the connections. The main menu then appears, and you can select the sensor unit you want if you have several of these.

The app will shortly begin to receive data from the sensor(s); from this, you’ll be able to make changes to your growing room and its environment if needed. Here, you can set up handy alerts to help you make such decisions. Just state what kind of alert you want, and then confirm this.

Please note that the AirComfort uses Bluetooth technology to send data, so you’ll need to be within 10 metres range or so of the device for your phone to connect, but if you’re out of range or if obstacles are blocking the Bluetooth signal, then the sensor will hold onto this data until you return. It will then send it forward to you.
