How does the BudBox Pro XL Grow Tent 120x120x200cm work?
This tent is a much-liked model in this very trusted range. This tent range has been given the thumbs up by growers of every degree of expertise from design to manufacture.
Budbox manufactures the tent frame with tempered, high-tensile steel, and the black powder-coated poles push and click tidily into the corners with their sturdy connectors. There is no stronger grow tent available that can handle any hydroponic equipment and hardware that you use.
The premium quality 1mm thick tent fabric is double stitched with precision, ensuring all light remains inside. The durable, thick, yet lightweight shell is simple to fit, and with top-quality zips, this tent offers unsurpassed quality when locking in smell, light and sound.
Intake and extraction ports have been made big enough for any acoustic ducting, and they have industrial-strength drawstrings fitted. They also have large venting panels for better passive airflow and a ground-level handy irrigation port.
This tent comes with a 35 x 25cm viewing window that allows you to observe the progress of your plants without making a disturbance or discontinuity within the controlled environment. The viewing window has a transparent green filter – the light in the green part of the colour spectrum does not affect plant light cycles. So you can check on your plants at any time of the day or night without disturbing anything.
How do I use this tent?
Follow the supplied instructions to set up your BudBox Pro XL Grow Tent. It’s simplicity itself. Make the framework first and unfold/unzip the fabric outer. Then, fit the outer lower area of the fabric to the bottom of your tent’s frame. Once that is secured, you can easily pull the rest of the tent fabric over the frame.

Which size fan and filter should I use for my grow tent?
There’s quite an easy way to calculate which size extraction unit you need for your growing space. Firstly, find out the grow space volume in cubic metres with Width x Length x Height = Volume. Multiply the Volume x 60 = Air Movement Per Hour (to refresh the air in your grow tent).
If you’re using a filter (which you probably are), then the amount of air you need to move is calculated by multiplying the Air Movement Per Hour x 1.2. That is the amount of air your fan will need to move, so that is the number you should match with the fan you should get for your grow tent.
It is always better to over-spec the fan you decide on and lower its output using a fan controller. Greater capacity affords you the versatility to boost its output later on to preserve optimal circumstances for your plants.
