Adjust-A-Wings Enforcer Reflector

The Adjust-A-Wings Enforcer Reflector is better than standard reflectors in that it delivers superb quality results compared with those within a similar price range. This model is ideal for use in hydroponic growing spaces and tents.

It features four adjustable positions to align the reflector with the lamp and grow space. It’s a highly economical way to manage the light in your growing area. It also comes in three different sizes for further versatility.

The Enforcer Reflector has several attributes and features, and these include the following:

  • Raises or lowers the lamp holder
  • Widens or narrows the light footprint
  • It brings the light closer to plants
  • It has double the power and efficiency of many other reflectors
  • Flexible and simple design
  • Adjustable height for greater control over the light distribution
  • Manufactured from top quality super reflective materials
  • Four parabolic wing positions for extra versatility
  • Super Spreader addition gets even closer to your plants

How the Enforcer Reflector Works

The Adjust-A-Wings Enforcer Reflector is built from top quality materials to enhance the quality of your crop. Its flexible wings allow you to narrow or widen the light area thrown down by the lamp. In addition, the lamp holder can raise or lower down on the vertical axis to provide greater flexibility over the nature and intensity of the light and the size of the footprint.

How Do I Use the Enforcer Reflector?

You can use the Adjust-A-Wings Enforcer Reflector with any horizontally mounted HPS or MH light fixture. Hang the reflector over the middle of your growing area at a suitable height.

Adjust the height of the bulb holder by untightening the retainer wing nut and moving the holder into the position you require, then tightening the wing nuts again to complete. You can easily set the wing positions by putting the cable retaining nodule in the chosen place on both wings.

Insert the lamp, holding it with a clean cloth, into the E40 bulb holder in the reflector unit and then tighten it. Plug the cable into a ballast suitable for HPS/MH bulb types, use a mains lead (for fluorescent bulbs) and switch on the power.

The reflection rate is approximately 86%, and it’s guaranteed to sustain its total reflection capacity for at least three years.

There is specific advice relating to the various stages of your plant’s life cycle and some preventative measures you should be aware of, which is where reflectors become helpful.

When beginning vegetative growth – You should use a narrow beam angle, position the reflector relatively high up in the growing area and position the lamp holder at a fair distance from the reflector. If shadows occur, you should adjust the lamp holder’s position accordingly.

As your plants grow, move the reflector nearer to them and widen the beam the closer the light gets, always maintaining a 1.5-metre spread, and ensure that you alter the lamp holder’s position each time you adjust the reflector.

To prevent hot spots from forming, you should bring the lamp nearer when the reflector gets close to the canopy. This proximity will artificially cause a shadow to develop (with the optional Super Spreader attached) in the middle of the spread of light. The light in that area reduces, and the reason for this is to prevent the plant from stretching (making it more robust and able to bear greater loads).

In the final stages of plant growth, make an ‘Artificial Autumn’ for the plants as you slowly move the reflector away from the canopy. The angle of the beam narrows as it rises, so adjust the lamp holder to spread light evenly and uniformly once again.
