How Does it Work?

TNB Naturals The Enhancer CO2 Dispersal Canister 240g – called simply ‘The Enhancer’ – is a fantastic little resource that adds extra CO2 to your growing room, thereby increasing the rate of photosynthesis and ensuring an enhanced yield for you at harvest.

Typically, it’s pretty expensive to supplement carbon dioxide levels in hydroponic growing systems, but this handy little utility will make the process easy and economical.

You add some warm water to the canister, shake it up a bit, and you’re ready!

You’ll be able to generate a supply of carbon dioxide that can cover an area of up to 48m3 for approximately two weeks. The alternative and more traditional ways of enhancing CO2 are much more expensive, and by using this method, you won’t have the same amount of control, but this is a superb way to go if you’re on a budget.

All plants need CO2 for photosynthesis. When plants photosynthesise, they use the energy derived from your grow lamps to split the carbon dioxide into its different elements of oxygen and carbon. The carbon will then make plant sugars necessary for growth and flavour, and the oxygen part will simply release as an unused by-product.

Plants can make good use of higher levels of CO2 than the levels found in the air, so adding more CO2 to the immediate environment is an excellent way to increase your plants’ growth rates. However, CO2 enhancement can be quite expensive to set up, as it usually needs CO2 bottles (or burners), sensors, controllers and regulators.

But this product makes carbon dioxide supplementation easy, to say the least – you just add water! Add warm water and shake it a bit, and it will produce around two weeks of extra CO2 for your growing space.

How to Use?

To use TNB Naturals The Enhancer CO2 Dispersal Canister, unscrew the top, pour a litre of lukewarm water straight into the container, and then shake it slightly. It shouldn’t be too hot, or you’ll be in danger of killing off the active ingredients.

Then screw the top on again and peel off the sticker (this effectively acts as a seal), cover up the hole in the lid and shake the container once again to wake up the active ingredients. It’ll start to work immediately.

The best place to put this is behind one of the oscillating fans in your growing room; you should keep the product as far away from the extraction system as you can manage.

Then to keep the product active, you’ll need to shake the container every day. It’s so simple to use this that it’ll probably be more of an effort to remember to shake the container daily than it is actually to shake it!

Extra CO2 will be continuous for about two weeks. At the end of that time, buy a refill pack to refresh your bottle and repeat the process.

Pro Tips: For best performance, you should shake the product daily. Put it as far away from your extractor system’s fan(s) as you can, and point an oscillating fan at the bottle, which will assist in dispersing the CO2 uniformly and evenly. For the best possible results, you should activate the canister one hour after the grow lights switch on, as this is when plants tend to use most of the available CO2.
